The Morning Brief started as an internal experiment. One of the co-founders wanted a single page, drafted fresh every morning, that answered three questions: what moved yesterday, what is overdue today, and what should I look at first? Six weeks later it was shipped.
What it replaces
- The fifteen-minute "scroll every tab" sweep that most operators start the day with.
- The Monday morning Slack recap that somehow always rots by Wednesday.
- The "how are we doing?" anxiety that operators carry between the coffee machine and the laptop.
The Brief is grounded on the live event log. Every claim in it is a pointer back to a record. There are no opinions — only citations.
We see the Brief open on every deployment call we have. It is the first thing operators check, and the last feature they would remove.
