THE MANIFESTO · CHAPTER 01

Aixys is not a marketing language. It’s a software company run by operators who were tired of paying seven bills to get one answer. This page is our memo to ourselves and our receipt to you.

THE DOCTRINE · FOUR PROMISES

What we refuse to change.

These are not slogans. They are the four statements we argue from when a design is contested. If a feature breaks one, the feature loses.

  1. One surface.

We will never ship a second app. Every capability lives on one canvas with one login, or it does not ship. Multi-app UX is how companies lose their memory.

    RECEIPTZero second apps · 2024 → present
  2. Memory, not dashboards.

A company that cannot remember itself cannot make good decisions. Our job is to make the memory queryable, not to pile another dashboard on top of stale data.

RECEIPTEvery record cites its memory IDs
  3. Cinematic, not cute.

The tool people use to run their company should feel like a serious instrument. We design for focus and gravity, not for whimsy.

    RECEIPTReadability is the first feature
  4. Honest about trade-offs.

We say out loud what Aixys is bad at. No feature-list theater. No vendor-questionnaire inflation. No “enterprise asterisk”.

THE STUDIO · A DOSSIER

Twenty-two months, one axis.

We don’t have a nine-act origin story. We have five decisions and a lot of Wednesdays. Scroll through the track.

    The bet

Quit our jobs and stopped buying software.

Three founders, one whiteboard, one rule: no feature ships if it lives in a second app. The first commit was the axis.

    The first axis

Mail + memory, same tab, same login.

We built what became Aixys Axis over 90 days. The first write to the memory bus happened on a Sunday morning. Twelve operator friends ran their companies on it by Christmas.

    Council forms

The first 38 companies sign on.

We built backwards from their weekly work. Every feature we shipped, we shipped because a Council operator defended it on a Wednesday call. No roadmap theater.

Six more modules on one canvas.

Deals, Projects, Finance, Comms, Files, People — shipped, one per month, each written to replace a specific tool on a specific desk. The stack-retirement median hit seven tools.

VOICES · FROM THE COUNCIL

Three operators on the record. Names withheld by request; every line was approved by its speaker before we printed it.

  • The first week, we retired Monday.com, Intercom, and three spreadsheets. The team stopped asking where a record was.

  • The close went from five days to two. Not because the AI got clever — because the numbers were already on the same canvas.
Head of Financeat a healthcare SaaS
  • I stopped opening the browser in the morning. Aixys is just the tab now.

  • No second app.
  • No upsell for SSO.
  • No data sold.

THE LETTER · FROM THE FOUNDERS

This page is our promise.

We started Aixys because we had too many tools and not enough memory. We wanted one tab to open in the morning — a surface we could run a company on — and the honest truth is that no vendor was going to build it for us.

So we are building it. Slowly. On purpose. In public. Every receipt, every release note, every Wednesday Council call. If any of that sounds like the company you want to operate from, we would like to meet you.
